Lunchtimes

We offer a catering facility with an onsite cafe which provides a range of delicious and healthy foods at breakfast and lunchtimes, all food freshly prepared onsite.

The Lunch time period is: 11:45am – 12:45pm.

Pupils return to their tutor groups and Staff and pupils eat together promoting healthy eating and mealtime etiquette.

A selection of hot/cold options will be available on a daily basis at a cost of £2 per day unless pupils are entitled to Free School Meals.

New school meals service

Venn are excited to share our new school meals service with you!

It’s designed to be kind to the planet and include everyone. With our pre-order system, we waste less food, so every meal is fresh and tasty.

We can offer different menu options like gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, and halal, all in a nut-free environment. This means every student can have a safe and yummy nutritious lunch, making it easy and worry-free for everyone.

What makes our service special is that the menus at each school are created by the students themselves. This makes lunchtime more fun because our students get to choose what they want to eat. Plus, these healthy and delicious meals cost just £1.50 each, no matter where the school is based. This makes it affordable for all families, and all children can enjoy high-quality meals.

As required, the service will work alongside Health Care professionals to support those pupils who have specific dietary needs.

Dietary requirements and any additional needs will be discussed as part of the Admissions process.

The setting does not promote lunches brought in from home unless advised by a medical practioner. The chef provides meals and snacks to meet all needs and are ordered each morning on arrival to school.

All pupils have time outside weather permitting.

The Cafe is currently closed due to a very exciting refurbishment, due to open early Spring! Packed lunches are currently being made in the interim period.
