🌟 A Small Step for a Big Cause 🌟

This weekend, Mrs. Troake took on the challenge of trekking 26 miles along the beautiful Northumberland coast, raising nearly £300 for Alzheimer's UK. 🥾

At The Sullivan Centre, we encourage our staff and learners to pursue their personal goals, no matter how big or small.

Let’s continue to support each other in reaching our own milestones! 🌈✨

🌈✨ We are excited to share that The Sullivan Centre has achieved the Rainbow Flag Award! 🎉

The Rainbow Flag Award is a national quality assurance framework designed for schools and colleges, focusing on positive LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, and other related identities) inclusion and visibility.

This award encourages a whole-organisation approach to LGBTQ+ inclusion, empowering us to develop effective strategies to challenge and combat transphobic, homophobic, and biphobic bullying.

We are proud to create a safe and supportive environment for all our learners, celebrating diversity and fostering understanding. Thank you to everyone in our community for your ongoing support! 💖🌍

Finn was thrilled to come into the school room to showcase his phonics and maths skills today.

He was able to read cvc words and write them down to make a sentence. Finn enjoyed reading a story with Miss Jupp. He was able to recognise words within the text and helped Miss Jupp to read it. 📚

Blake is in year 6. He has not attended mainstream school for a long time due to being diagnosed with leukaemia twice. 🚑💉

Blake was happy to be learning again. 💙 He flew through a year 5 arithmetic paper even though he felt quite poorly from his ongoing treatment.

Well done, Blake 👏 🍎
